To win, we need everyone.
The most powerful force for good during the Coronavirus crisis has been the huge numbers of people getting involved in community organisations to support each other through this difficult time.
We need to continue to work together, and build a movement for real change right across Scotland.
We need to put pressure on at all levels, organise our communities, speak with a unified voice, come together at key moments to show our collective power and win political support.
WEEK OF ACTION!
Thanks to everyone who took part in the Week of Action for a Just and Green Recovery in November.
Hundreds of people met with their MSPs and joined online workshops, webinars and rallies.
Together we are building a movement and creating public pressure for real change that cannot be ignored.
SIGN THE PETITION
Decisions made now will shape our communities for years to come.
Add your name to our letter to the First Minister, and let her know that you want a Just and Green Recovery.
ORGANISE IN YOUR COMMUNITY
Whether you’re in a Trade Union branch or a climate group, organising on healthcare or racial equality, or providing emergency food support for your community, your views on a Just and Green Recovery are important.
It’s crucial that we build connections in our local communities, and make sure our decision makers hear from their constituents and especially the people who have been most affected by Covid-19, the lockdown and the recession.
Check out our guide to organising for a Just and Green Recovery in your community.
SIGN UP AS A SUPPORTING ORGANISATION
Just and Green Recovery Scotland is backed by almost 90 organisations from churches to charities and trade unions to grassroots groups, working across issues as diverse as health, housing, economy, environment, poverty, racial justice and more.
At the root of all the different issues we work on, is an economic system that puts profit before people or planet. Working together, we have the best chance for real change.
If your group or organisation would like to add your support to the campaign, please get in touch.
